Tokyo Midtown

Tokyo Midtown will open on 30 Mar 2007, so it is new place.
The place has Museum, hotel, residence, restaurant and shop.
Recently Tokyo has had several huge project like Roppongi Hills, Omote-sando Hills something like taht, but this project must be bigger than thouse. In not so long future, we will not have like this project because there is not huge realestate like Tokyo Midtown.
I am looking forward to see this place, but I do not wanna soon because so many people will visit there.

Golden-gai(ゴールデン街)

Golden-gai is pretty different place from other twons in Tokyo. There are a lot of night place. Especially beside Golden-gai is Kabuki-cho(歌舞伎町) where is the one of biggest night place in Japan. This place, on the other hand, has many kind of bar, restauran and residence around 270, but most of the place are bar that is pretty small. If those bar have 5 to 10 guest, it must be full ocupancy. You guys will find the other aspect of tokyo here.

Shinjuku Area

Shinjuku(新宿), Tokyo is one of the busiest place in Tokyo and this place has Tokyo Metropolitan Office twin building. Shinjuku has many kind of aspects, office area, shopping area, korean twon some huge park and night place. Basically most of the parts of tokyo does not have high-rises, on the other hand Shinjuku has many bank buildings, especially tokyo metropolitan city hall is also pretty tall building. The viewing platform of the city hall is free. The scenery will make you enjoy .

Mt. Fuji (富士山)

The picture was tooken from observatory of Roppongi Hills, so people call this plain field as Kantou Heiya. In addition, this picture also has Mt. Fuji that is the highest mountain in Japan. Japanese love the mountain because that is kind of symbole of Japan. Some people climbe this mountain on January first because of seeing the first sunrise of the year. There are a lot of the story about this picture.

Onece upon a time, two guys wanted to climbe Mt. Fuji, so they went to this mountain by sandals and T-shirt. Half of the way they quited to do because the mountain was pretty taugh. They did not know anything about it. Nobody do that kind of stupid behavior. Do you know them? hmmmm

Akashi Kaikyo Bridge(明石海峡大橋)

Thi is the view from Kobe airport(神戸空港). Middle of the picture is Akashi Kaikyo Bridge that is the longest suspension bridge in the world. In fact, the bridge is only for car, so we cant closs the bridge on foot.　The scenery from Awaji iland(淡路島) to Akasih(明石) and Kobe(神戸) is better than from Akashi to Awaji, especially night view is excelent. When there was Kobe earthquake, this bridge moved 1 metter. At that time the bridge was under construction.

Luminarie, Kobe

Luminarie(ルミナリエ) is one of memorial events for Hanshin-Awaji (阪神・淡路) earthquake in 1995.
Over six thousand people were died by the earth quake, so the earthquake were pretty huge one in Japanese desaster history. Luminarie is lighting event in Sanomiya, Kobe, since 1995, but actually Seoul, Korea also has the same kind oflighting event on Dec. Anyway many people will come to the event, especially saturday and sunday. If you have a chance, I will recommend to visit during weekdays.

Tai-meshi, Matsuyama, Ehime.

Taiya(「鯛や」) is pretty strange restauran in Mitsu, Matsuyama, Ehime prefecture.
How strange? Yep, this restauran just open 3days a week - friday, saturday, sunday and national holiday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and they only have
one menu that is Tai-meshi(鯛めし), but this restaurant's atmosphere is pretty
good. It is kind of traditional style. If you are foreigner or have a guest of foreigner,
it will be good experience.

In fact, Matsuyma is famous haiku place, so the owner made this restaurant to
have haiku party.

Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street

This is Tenjinbashi shopping street, and there is Harukoma(春駒)　that is also Sushi restaurant. This picture is opposite side of Yakko Sushi(奴寿司). The restaurant has the same long line as Yakko Sushi(奴寿司), too. This place has three famous Sushi Restaurant, but I reccomend those two Sushi restaurant, Yakko and Harukoma. This place is one station from Osaka Station by JR and it take 20 minutes from Osaka station on foot.

Yakko sushi, Tenjinbashisuji

Yakko（奴寿司）　is sushi restauran in Tenjinbashisuji shopping street(天神橋筋商店街), Osaka. This restauran has two branch, so any restauran are the same price as main restauran and
the same taste. Main restauran has line always, so i recommend to go to branch early evening. If you go late evening, they must not have better ingredients. Those branches are just 1 minute from main branch.

One of my friends wanted to drive to hot spring spa in Wakayama. There is famous hotspring spa in Kawayu(川湯温泉), so the spa is in the river.
